Ministry Mission: To insure that each individual in the congregation ages 55 & older are minister too. This is a support ministry. This is a ministry in which we can tell our stories. This is a ministry where we can learn together, pray together, laugh together, and if necessary, cry together. This is a ministry that will help you survive and thrive in your golden years. Senior Citizens Supporters Ministry:

 

Mission- To equip others as needed to be a good servant for God. To visit, and care for our senior members and others who need our assistance. Also get involved in the lives of men and women for the winning of their soul. The members in this ministry are ages 55 and younger. James 3:8 and James 2:17.

Youth - Teens Ministry

    Youth Ministry Mission: Glorifying God and uplifting the youths and the community through the ministry. This ministry is to offer youth of the church the opportunities to experience first hand their christianity and an opportunity to exhibit their faith through interaction of other members and community. To understand the youth culture in general and the youth in the church in particular. To evaluate the present youth program and brainstorm ways of improving it. Singles Ministry

                Singles Ministry Ministry Mission: To provide a Singles Ministry, which encourages, edifies, promotes spiritual bonding and continues in place from generation to generation. We have a sincere desire to be grounded and rooted in the word of God through our involvement in enrichment activities, which include Bible Study, Fundraisers and Christian Fellowship with Sister congregations.

Small Group Ministries

This ministry will be starting soon! One of the ways that members of Roswell Church of Christ will have available to be involved in caring ministry is through the Roswell Small Group Ministry. Participants in Roswell small groups, usually 20 or less in number, wil get together on a regular basis to live out the great command of Jesus, to love one another, and the great commission, to make disciples of all nations. Roswell Small Group participants are modern day disciples, ordinary people and followers of Jesus Christ. Roswell groups spend their time in 4 main activity areas. 1. Community building and care. Roswell members and friends will discover the joy of caring friendships in small groups. Small Groups gatherings are members getting together usually once or twice a month for about an hour and a half sharing life experiences, the joys and sorrows of everyday living. Small Groups gatherings are a time for conversation, laughter, tears, and encouragement. 2. Biblical Equipping. Equipping is an interesting word. It means making something fit for the role for which it is designed and intended. Through Biblical Equipping, the Small Groups participant is transformed by the Holy Spirit and made fit for life as a follower of Jesus Christ. Roswell small groups are places where spiritual growth occurs. All activities of Roswell groups are Christ-centered. Biblical Equipping is a comfortable way to study God’s Word among friends and to discuss what it means for us today! Application of Biblical truths to everyday life makes Bible study come alive! 3. Prayer and Worship. The 12 people closest to Jesus asked Him, "Lord teach us to pray..." (Luke 11:1). Roswell small groups encourage and practice prayer as an essential component of Christian life in community with other believers. Roswell groups worship and praise God through prayer bringing cares and concerns before the living God, who has promised to hear. 4. Missional service. Roswell groups reach out to people outside of the group providing care, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Roswell groups respond to the love shown by Jesus, the undeserved kindness demonstrated by the sacrifice of his own life for the life of the world. Roswell groups give participants the opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ to others How can I find out more about Roswell Small Group Ministry? We believe that every person has been created for some kind of Christian community activity and our church gives that opportunity through the various small group ministries. The Holy Spirit can use you to facilitate congregational care to and through others and we urge all our members to become a part of small group activities of the church.     The Fellowship Ladies coordinator encourages all suggestions and ideas that edify the women in the church of Christ. Anyone wanting to be a part of this ministry is welcome. Men's Fellowship Ministry

Men Fellowship Ministry Ministry Mission: Provides the opportunity for the men to become better acquainted with each other and to plan activities to build the bond of fellowship. Events and fellowship activities may occur in and outside the church atmosphere. Event should occur at least once a quarterly or more frequently.
