Time is fast approaching for the 14^th annual NACS Seminar. We hope that the Senior Adults of your congregation plan to be among the more than 1200 that are expected in Kansas City, Missouri, April 25 thru 27, 2008.

The theme for the seminar is SPIRITUALTREASURES IN EARTHEN VESSELS 2 Corinthians 4:7.

THE EVENTS BEGIN ON FRIDAY EVENING AT 6:30 P.M. Saturday, after the class sessions have concluded, some of the planned social outings are:

Tours of the city: We have received enough advance requests to charter one bus. For those who want to use their own bus for the tour, we have located a company that can supply step-on guides [for a fee], but we need to know in advance if you want a guide to direct your bus on a tour.
Visiting or touring the Negro League Baseball Museum and American Jazz Museum: 300 group rate tickets of $5.00 each will be available for purchase on a first come, first served basis. Each ticket will admit 1 person to both museums. Great idea for groups arriving with their own bus. We will not be able to furnish transportation to the museums, but will supply directions.
Trolley car trip to the Steam Boat Arabia Exhibit: World’s largest collection of pre Civil War artifacts recovered from a steam boat that had been buried for decades.
World War I Museum: 30,000-square-foot National World War One Museum recounts the history of the “Great War” drawing on a major collection of 49,000 objects and wrapping around them a strongly conceived narrative of conflict, heroism, death, determination and waste.
Shopping at various locations: Directions will be provided, but no special transportation can be provided

If your group is arriving by bus, please call us with your expected time of arrival. We want to make the check in as easy for our seniors as possible. If we have the information, in advance, we will try to avoid some of the bottle necks at the check in counters.

We have also enclosed a registration form that contains additional information. Please make as many copies as you need. Please note that the registrations and checks must be mailed to the Grandview Post Office Box. The checks must be made payable to NACS. The 500 rooms at the main hotel are filling up very fast. Arrangements have been made with an overflow hotel.

PLEASE SEND YOUR ADS for the Souvenir Booklet as soon as possible. They will be listed in the book in the order in which we receive them. The cost will be $100.00 for a full page, $50.00 for a half page, $25.00 for a quarter page and $10.00 for Sponsors. The ads must be print ready.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ORDER A T-SHIRT, please send payment with your registration. The cost is $14.00 for sizes, medium, large, X large and $18.00 for sizes, XX large, XXX large, XXXX large.

If you have never attended a Celebrated Seniors Seminar, we hope you will make Kansas City the first of many.

The National Association of Celebrated Seniors Seminar will be held on April 25-27, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center Hotel, located at 2345 McGee in Kansas City, Missouri.(816)421-1234 or the toll free number is (800)233-1234. When making your reservations please mention "Church Of Christ". The room rate is $109 plus 14.85% sales tax and a hotel tax of $1.75. Each room can have up to 4 persons in it.

This years theme is: "SPIRITUAL TREASURES IN EARTHEN VESSELS" 2 Corinthians 4:7.

The registration fee is $65 per person before August 4, 2007 and after August 4, 2007 the cost per person goes up to $75.
